The Holiday Season is here! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, whatever that looked like for you. If you're looking for ways to get out into the community this month, there are lots of different events to try—with a particular focus in December on holiday art and craft fairs, holiday concerts, and winter celebrations.

Here's the monthly roundup of events happening in the Roseville, MN area in December 2025:

Annual Sale for the Roseville Historical Society

Dec. 1 - 6 | 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Community Carol Sing-Along with Roseville String Ensemble

"Gather with your neighbors . . . and sing along with the Roseville Strings this holiday season. Choral director Logan Combs will lead the annual carol sing-along and Assistant Conductor Chris Chelgren will conduct seasonal orchestral favorites including “Sleigh Ride.” Versatile guest musicians Saint Croix Acoustic will perform during the program’s interlude . . . Cookies and coffee will be served after the concert."

"This event features quality, handcrafted items exhibited and sold by over 50 crafters and artisans. Merchandise includes pottery, beadwork, jewelry, paintings, soap, textiles and much more. Free admission; vendor fees support the Harriet Alexander Nature Center."

Christmas at Northwestern: Arise, Shine!

"A long-standing tradition with music ensembles combining in a concert of worship with familiar songs and carols of hope, joy, including a world premiere by UNW faculty composer Joshua Bauder, and festive Christmas music celebrating the recent knighthood of Sir John Rutter.

This performance features the Northwestern Choir, UNW Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Amata Women’s Chorale, and Con Brio Men’s Chorus."

"Originally from Minnesota, Tom Baker studied photojournalism at the University of Montana School of Journalism. In 2006, while in the midst of an internship at the Portland Tribune in Portland, OR, his father had a severe hemorrhagic stroke. He returned to Minnesota to help his family and eventually transitioned to start his freelance photography and videography business, specializing in photojournalism and documentary-style video storytelling. He has been published in local and national publications, including Minnesota Public Radio, where he has been a contributing contract photojournalist since 2012. In July, he won second place in the National Press Photographers Association monthly clip contest in the central region for his coverage of the Vance Boelter manhunt while working for MPR News."

Rice & Larpenteur Alliance Winter Warm-Up

The Rice & Larpenteur Alliance welcomes all to celebrate the season with an outdoor winter pop-up community gathering. *No "ticket" needed! Celebrate community and the winter season while warming up with friends and neighbors.

The event will include free treats, music, fire pits, and activities such as:

Phoenixbirds Book Launch

Author Jane Dickerson will launch her second book of poetry Phoenixbirds, published this year. An award-winning poet, she will read poems about the environment, birding, hearing loss and Deafness, as well as her family’s West Virginia roots.

Holiday Market at Makwa Coffee

"Our annual holiday market will be on Monday, December 15th from 5-8pm! We will feature a variety of local vendors, as well as specials on coffee, tea, and shop merchandise and gift cards. Heart and Solstice

Live Music by the Flip Side

Flip Side trio
"Flip Side is an acoustic trio featuring smooth vocals and swinging guitar whose repertoire spotlights the popular music of pre-nuclear days. They play the well- known songs as well as more obscure tunes - the Flip Side of those old 78s! Robin McGalliard Nelson and Bonita Donnay sing sweet harmonies while accompanying themselves on bass, ukulele, melodica and accordion. Ace guitarist Jan Stroup fills out the trio and adds an improvisational element to the Flip Side sound."

New Year's Eve Celebration on Ice
