Summer is for live music, community, and soaking up the sun—and July is no exception here in Roseville, MN. Rosefest is behind us (along with the annual Roseville fireworks display on June 28), but there are still so many ways to get out in the community this month.

Below is a list of events happening in Roseville and surrounding areas in July.

The Fourth in the Park

"The 4th in The Park  is a fun-filled celebration of community featuring events for the entire family! Join us to celebrate our nation's birthday with family and friends. 

Kick things off with an early morning distance race. Enjoy the colorful parade and stake out a patch of grass to enjoy an afternoon of music.
There is something for everyone at the 4th in the Park!

Philando Castile Annual Candlelight Vigil

"Join us for our Annual candlelight Commemoration For King Philando Castile. Philando was murdered by a peace officer on this day in Falcon Heights MN. We will be gathering at The Peace Garden to commemorate his life and the beautiful legacy he has left. There will be a moment of silence and prayers for all the stolen lives!! Plus a look at how far the peace garden has come! This is a place designed to bring you peace and solace as we continue to heal."

Sunday Afternoon Music by Bundle and Go!

"Bundle & Go is the duo of David and Suzanne Rhees, whose mission is to explore the roots and branches of Celtic traditional music. They play an eclectic mix of vigorous Irish dance tunes, slow listening pieces, and unusual songs, with a generous sprinkling of tunes from related traditions – Cape Breton, Welsh, Scottish, French-Canadian, Métis, Appalachian and more. Their instruments are equally diverse:  Suzanne plays Irish flute, whistles and button accordion, while Dave plays fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, ukulele and feet."

Abe Partridge is a heralded musician, singer/songwriter, visual artist, storyteller and documentarian based in Mobile, Alabama. Since the release of his debut album Cotton Fields and Blood for Days in 2018, Partridge has toured relentlessly, including several tours throughout Europe. He is a regular at several great music festivals such as the 30a Songwriters Fest, and the Laurel Cove Music Fest as well as listening rooms across the country including the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Eddies Attic in Atlanta, and Duke's in Indianapolis. Recently, he toured extensively with Matthew Sweet, Drivin' N Cryin', and Dar Williams in support of his latest release Love in the Dark. He has performed on several syndicated NPR radio programs including, Mountain Stage and Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour."
