Into the Burrow: A Peter Rabbit Tale

"Join us on Friday, October 2 for an interactive theatrical event with Mixed Blood Theater, highlighting their upcoming production of "Into the Burrow: A Peter Rabbit Tale".

As the neighborly forest animals gather in the rabbit’s den – under Mr. McGregor’s Garden – for a surprise party for Peter Rabbit, the animals soon realize Mr. McGregor has terrible plans for the land around Peter’s burrow. The show is presented by special arrangement with Frederick Warne & Co Limited and runs October 1-18, 2026."

Being Mortal: Advance Care Planning & End of Life Choices

"What is a good death? These three in-person presentations and discussions will address this question in a variety of ways and explore options for care at the end-of-life. Topics will include advance care planning, palliative care, hospice, voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED), and medical aid in dying (MAiD). Each session will last about 1 hour 30 minutes. FREE."

Twin Cities Oktoberfest

"Twin Cities Oktoberfest is excited to celebrate the 16th anniversary of our event in 2026! You can find us in the heart of the Twin Cities at the Historic Progress Center on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Like years’ past, our event is 100% local – that includes all beer, food, music, merchandise and other entertainment. We are happy to have a few returning and NEW beer/cider sponsors – Utepils Brewing, Pryes Brewing Company, Dangerous Man Brewing, Haggard Barrel Brewing Co., and Minneapolis Cider Company. Our food offerings in 2026 include Gerhard’s Brats, traditional German pretzels from Aki’s Breadhaus, treats from Sara’s Tipsy Pies, candied bacon from Big Guy’s BBQ and Jesse’s Spatzle!

For traditional Oktoberfest music, we have three terrific bands – Bavarian Musikmeisters, The Elk River German Band and The iPolka Band. We also welcome back the world renowned and the #1 North American German dancing troupe, SG Edelweiss, as well as a couple of fun cover bands, The Stand Ups and Reese Glover. We have additional music in our tent again this year, with Cornell Power Service,  Gonzo’s Planet and Joe Hysell & The Mercenary Duo electrifying the stage. You can try your hand-eye coordination on Hammer and Nail or with Nice Axe. We hold multiple stein holding competitions over the 2-day event, which includes both Men’s and Ladies’ divisions, and ALL proceeds go to charity." 

Funk Jam and Breakdance Collaboration

Cookies for Coats Bake Sale: Do Good Roseville

Gibbs Farm Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail

"A little bit of magic, a little bit of steam power, and plethora of candy!

Join Gibbs Farm for our 5^th Annual Steampunk Halloween Trick or Treat Trail. For one day a year, the Gibbs Farm historic site is transformed! Visit the twisting stacks of books at the library, match wits with a traveling magician, make friends with a fairy, and decide whether or not to throw your lot in with some mischievous sky pirates. Enjoy live music from Light of the Moon band!

The start of the trail is timed, approximately 40 minutes long, and ends at the exit of the site. Prior registration for an entry timeslot is required. The trail is family friendly and intended for all ages! Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All trail attendees must purchase a ticket to enter."

Roseville Strings Fall Concert: Little Suites & Sweet Serenades

"Join us for a sparkling program of short pieces under the baton of Artistic Director Amir Kats. The concert includes Shin-Itchiro Yokoyama’s Petite Serenade for Strings, Carl Nielsen’s Little Suite, Pietro Locatelli’s Concerto Grosso Op. 1 No. 9, and a string orchestra arrangement of Scott Joplin’s ragtime classic, The Cascades. Our final piece on the program is America the Beautiful, celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary.

Admission is free; donations are appreciated ($20 suggested). Free parking on the Hamline University Campus."

Halloween Haul

"Halloween at Rosedale is back! Join us for a spooktacular evening filled with trick-or-treating, candy, and the Halloween fun you’ve come to know and love. The Twin Cities Road Crew will be here hosting a special dance party from 4-7PM in the East Court with your favorite characters Spiderman, and Moana, plus SECRET character surprise to keep the celebration going. This free event is open to everyone, and costumes are encouraged.

Please note, masks are not allowed for anyone over the age of 12 unless worn for religious or medical mask reasons."
