Celebrate Earth Day by coming together with your neighbors to care for the earth, learn about sustainability, and participate in fun events around Roseville. Earth Day is April 22, but there are multiple opportunities to get involved over the next two weeks.

Rice & Larpenteur Alliance Spring Clean-Up
Caribou Coffee on Rice Street
April 19 | 9 - 11:30 a.m.
“We will be meeting at Caribou Coffee and splitting individuals into teams. Each team will focus on general area of where it is needed most for cleaning up. Warm drinks will be served by Caribou for volunteers.”
Natural Resources Volunteer Event
Garlic Mustard and Great Celandine Removal
Reservoir Woods Park
April 19 | 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
“Join others natural resources volunteers in our effort to control Garlic Mustard and Greater Celandine. One caution: The sap of the Celandine is irritating to eyes and skin, so latex-dipped gloves are required. We will have gloves available. Bring a bucket and trowel, and a water bottle for hydration. Volunteers will meet at the small parking lot at the top of Alta Vista Dr.

“Neighbors of the new Environmental Center in Roseville are invited for an evening tour of the facility. This brand-new facility makes it easier for residents to reduce waste, reuse and recycle. During the tour you will learn more about the materials collected at the site, tour the Reuse Room and learn more about Fix-It Clinics and other community programming that will happen at the Environmental Center.”

Hunt for treasures you need and want while giving gently used items a second life at this one-stop-shop, garage-sale-style event. No need to drive all around town searching for sales!
Learn about sustainability efforts in our district and our community, and find out how you can contribute.
Order tasty bites to eat from Gastrotruck, a local food truck that's committed to locally-sourced ingredients and sustainable business practices!
Bring along your new or gently used kitchen items that you no longer need! We'll be collecting kitchen utensil donations for Bridging, a local nonprofit, during this event. We can accept can openers, mixing spoons, spatulas, kitchen scissors, pizza cutters, dish towels, hot pads, oven mitts, measuring cups, ladles, whisks, vegetable peelers, and tongs.”
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Rosedale Center Parking Lot

“Roseville Police Department will be partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration - DEA and Rosedale Center to host a convenient, anonymous medication drop-off site in the outer parking lot near AMC Theatres.
Safely disposing of expired, unused, or unwanted medications helps prevent drug misuse and keeps them out of the wrong hands.
Please note: Liquids and syringes will not be accepted”

Kite Day in the Park

“Bring your family and friends to rediscover a forgotten pastime, kite flying! Feel free to bring your own kite, or kids can receive a free kite. Let's fill the spring sky with kites!
No registration needed, just show up the morning of the event and the first 350 participants will receive a kite!

Clean Up Day
Dale Street Soccer Field Parking Lot
April 26 | 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Roseville Residents Only
“Not all garbage can go in your trash cart. So Roseville organizes an annual Clean Up Day to help residents get rid of items that require special handling or to get rid of an accumulation of stuff. Plus Roseville pays approximately one-third of the disposal costs. Money to pay for the Clean Up Day comes from funds received from the State of Minnesota and Ramsey County.”
