Roseville Reader 2026 Local Gem Award Winners
Celebrating what makes Roseville shine
We are so excited to announce the winners of the inaugural Roseville Reader Local Gem Awards!
In May, our readers nominated their local favorites in each category. In June, the community voted. There were up to 5 entries in every category and nominees could be on the ballot up to three times. Now, the results are in!
The goal of the Local Gem Awards is to lift up the local small businesses, places, and people that have been a bright spot for the community in the last 12 months. Our goal is to give locals a chance to celebrate the local gems that make Roseville such a great place to be.

This category was eliminated after the nominations round. Too many individual teachers were nominated without any duplicates, which made it impossible to narrow it down to 5 options for the ballot. We want to find a better way to organize this category for next year. There are so many great teachers in Roseville Area Schools!
Thank you for participating in our first ever Local Gem Awards. Congratulations to the winners! Personalized award certificates will be hand delivered to your place of business sometime this summer. As a one-person operation, it'll take me awhile to get them all out there. If you want a digital copy instead and/or a graphic you can post on social media, please reach out and I'll email it to you: news@rosevillereader.com.
We all know these aren't the only local gems worth celebrating, so make sure to shop local and support the places and people who make your life brighter.
The Roseville Reader launched in September 2024 by a Roseville resident who believed we needed something like this. We're operating on a shoestring and could use your support. Would you join us in this effort by becoming a paying subscriber?
