Happy May Day!
May 1 is both a celebration of spring rooted in Northern European culture and a commemoration of the labor movement, which is recognized around the world as International Workers' Day. The Roseville Reader is a local, journalist-owned publication, so we're celebrating May Day too. We aren't beholden to a media conglomeration or billionaire owner who is calling the shots. We're fully independent and 100% community supported. That's something worth celebrating!
At the turn of each month, it really is such a delight to share our monthly roundups with you. First we're looking back at how larger regional news outlets covered Roseville in April. And then we're looking ahead at all the fantastic events and opportunities happening in our community in May.
