Meet the candidates at Roseville City Hall
The League of Women Voters of Roseville Area is hosting a candidate forum for the special election in House District 40B on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Roseville City Council Chambers at City Hall.
Both candidates have been invited. David Gottfried is running as the DFL-endorsed candidate and Paul Wikstrom is running as the Republican candidate. As of the publishing of this article, Gottfried accepted the League’s invitation and Wikstrom declined. However, the invitation remains open if he changes his mind, according to Teresa Wernecke, League president.
Community members are encouraged to submit questions in person at the forum on Jan. 16 or via email to lwvrosevillearea@lwvmn.org. The event will be livestreamed by NineNorth Cable Channels HD859 and SD 15 and online. Recordings will be available on the NineNorth website and on YouTube.

If you aren’t yet registered to vote, you can register by January 21 or on election day.
