Where is the best croissant in the Roseville area?
Eat local with You Me Food Review
Not too long ago, if we were in the mood for a good croissant, our options were limited. Fresh-baked croissants just weren’t that easy to come by in Roseville. Luckily, over the last five years, things have changed.
First came La Delicious, barely outside our city limits at County Road B and Rice. This French-Hmong bakery immediately dazzled us with its baguettes, banh mi, and fancy pastries. This family-owned business has one location—a true local gem.
Within a year, Mi-Sant arrived in Roseville along the Highway 36 frontage road. With its first restaurant in Brooklyn Center, this is the second location of this local, family-owned Vietnamese sandwich shop and cafe. From the start, we fell in love with their coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
Then, earlier this year, Paris Baguette sprang up in Rosedale. This South Korean, French-inspired franchise is rapidly growing, with 300 stores across the U.S. and 4,000 worldwide.
With the opening of Paris Baguette, we decided it was time to get down to business. Time to do the hard work. Time to go out, brave the dangers, and find out once and for all: Where can we find the best chocolate croissant?
Without further ado, here are the results of our taste test.
Our Favorite

La Delicious | 2158 Rice Street, Saint Paul
Price: $4.75
The chocolate chunks in this croissant pushed it to the front of the pack. It’s a beautiful croissant, one to savor.
Runner-Up

Mi-Sant | 1881 MN-36, Roseville
Price: $3.99
The chocolate placement in this croissant left some bites chocolate-free, which may be why we noticed just how deliciously buttery it is. The price doesn’t hurt either. This croissant is a buttery bargain.
Third Place

Paris Baguette | 1590 MN-36, Roseville (Rosedale)
Price: $5.99
Although this croissant was visually lovely and had a nice flaky texture, it didn’t stack up against La Delicious and Mi-Sant. Price wasn’t a factor during the taste test, but once we considered it, we felt even more strongly that our croissant dollars could be better spent elsewhere.
